Blocking IPs & countries

The block list lets you exclude specific IP addresses and countries from your analytics. Traffic from blocked IPs or countries won't be recorded in your reports.

This is useful for filtering out your own visits, office traffic, or traffic from regions that aren't relevant to your business.

Blocking IP addresses

  1. Go to your site settings and click Block List.
  2. In the Blocked IPs panel on the left, enter an IP address and click Block.
  3. Optionally, add a description to help you remember why the IP was blocked (e.g., "Office network" or "Home network").

You can block individual addresses or entire ranges:

  • IPv4 — e.g., 192.168.1.1
  • IPv6 — e.g., 2001:db8::1
  • CIDR ranges — e.g., 192.168.1.0/24 blocks all 256 addresses in that range

Blocking countries

  1. In the Blocked Countries panel on the right, use the searchable dropdown to find a country.
  2. Select a country and click Block.

Blocked countries are listed alphabetically. All traffic from a blocked country will be excluded from your analytics.

Removing entries

To stop excluding an IP address or country, click Unblock next to the entry. Traffic from that IP or country will start being recorded again.

Permissions

Only organization admins can manage the block list. Users with view-only access can see the current blocked IPs and countries but cannot make changes.
